Kitchen Primer: Basics of the Kitchen – Week 2

A three-week series to help you gain confidence in the kitchen.
Each session will include demonstrations of food preparation techniques and discuss equipment, utensils, pantry stapes and fresh ingredients needed to complete the meal. We’ll also address substitutions, meal planning and smart shopping.
Week 1 (2/26): Frittata, potatoes two ways
Week 2 (3/5): Homemade vegetable stock; The art of the sauce; Mac and Cheese – taking it up a notch
Week 3 (3/12): Foolproof formulas – Soups, salads and family meals
Cost is $175 per person for this three week series. Weekly options are available at $65 per week, if you are interested in in a weekly class, please call the shop at 937-320-9446 to check availability.

Krisanne Mrozinski is a graduate of Penn State University’s nutrition and dietetics program. She has over 30 years of creative food preparation experience and enjoys sharing her love of culinary arts with others whether it’s teaching a class, hosting a dinner party or just sampling wines and cheeses with friends.
